The client who was the owner of the existing shop needed to give up the business. After unsuccessful attempts to sell the business and premises the client decided to convert the space into a lettable apartment. Using the space to the form the best possible layout and connection to services required allot of design input. The living room was kept to the street. The bedroom and services were kept to the rear.
